We start with 1 lb dry weight (~10 lb fresh equivalent) of Lion's Mane fruiting bodies. No mycelium. No grain spawn. No myceliated oat filler. Just the mushroom itself, grown by partners we trust in Pennsylvania and California.

Hot water pulls the beta-glucans. Ethanol pulls the hericenones and erinacines. Both fractions are extracted separately to capture the full spectrum of bioactive compounds — the way it was always meant to be done.

Once extracted, we carefully reduce the combined extract under controlled conditions. All residual alcohol is removed. The water is driven off until we reach a thick, viscous syrup — dark, dense, and almost solid.
